My work spans a wide variety of experiences and interests, including memoir, patient safety in hospitals, the psychological vicissitudes of the writing life, and more.
My essays attempt to capture moments of surprise and astonishment and give them meaning. They begin in as a passionate response to a life event, met by the struggle to capture it in words.
My freelance articles come from a cognitive passion fueled by my heart and interest in information-sharing, sometimes as a woman, often as a writer, and most often as a woman, a writer, and a psychotherapist.
